Need brakes? How about A/C work or suspension repairs? We can do that too, although diesel engine diagnosis and repair is our specialty it's not all that we do.

Keep Your Diesel Powered Vehicle Running Strong

Is your diesel truck spewing white smoke out of the exhaust pipe? Do you have a diesel car that's hard to get started? Is your motorhome leaking fuel?

Not enough power to get up the hills in your tractor trailer? Has your fuel efficiency dropped dramatically? Is your air conditioning keeping you less cool?

Any of these problems can signal the need for diesel mechanical repair. And since the life of a diesel engine is often twice that (or more) of an engine fueled by gasoline, performing needed repairs can save you big money in the long run.

Here are some things you might want to know about our diesel truck repair services.
  1. Quality repair and customer service. Western Turbo and Fuel Injection is a member of the Canadian Automobile Association and certified as part of the Approved Auto Repair Services group.
  2. Long-time diesel industry specialists. We've belonged to the Association of Diesel Specialists for over 30 years and stay abreast of the technical aspects of fuel injection service and issues relating to the diesel industry.
If you have any of these types of diesel powered vehicles:
  • a passenger car or pickup truck
  • a semi truck (or even a fleet)
  • a motorhome or RV
  • farm tractors
  • heavy duty equipment
then you need a reliable and skilled diesel auto repair shop.

Western Turbo and Fuel Injection employs licensed technicians who are available to perform Manitoba Government Safety Inspections on most makes and models of automotive, light and heavy duty vehicles and equipment.

Whether you own a big rig or a passenger car that you plan to register within the province of Manitoba, your vehicle must pass a safety inspection. Here's what you need to know. Designed to make sure all commercial, public, and private vehicles meet minimum safety standards before being driven on Manitoba roads, these government safety inspections are completed by licensed technicians and include review of the steering, suspension, tires, brakes, exhaust, lights and supporting framework. After the inspection, you'll receive a valid safety inspection certificate allowing you to register the vehicle. In Manitoba, this certificate is called a Certificate of Inspection or COI. Manitoba vehicle inspections for semi truck tractors, buses, commercial trailers and other heavy duty trucks are required every six or twelve months depending on the weight and type of vehicle. Commercial buses and truck tractors with a gross vehicle weight rating over 21,953 kg must be inspected every six months, all others annually. A car or truck acquired for personal use, either new or used, requires an inspection prior to registration and then can be driven without another inspection until the vehicle is sold. Private vehicles sold to immediate family members or received as part of an inheritance do not require another inspection.

Are you moving to Manitoba and bringing a car or truck along with you? You'll need a current COI to register the vehicle. Own a fleet of diesels that need periodic inspections? We can set up regular truck inspections so your business never misses a beat. It's the law in Manitoba. But our licensed technicians can make it easy for you. Call us at 1-800-665-7556 or click here to schedule an appointment for a safety inspection.

Is your air conditioning not so "conditioning" lately? Does the coldest setting feel like it's not so cold? Was your last a/c repair not so professional? Diesel Service Centre's expert air conditioning repair technicians are available for your air conditioning and climate control needs.
